Description Thermo Fisher Tecnai G2 Spirit Transmission Electron Microscope This item is sold on behalf of a client where it is surplus to requirements. This system is in good cosmetic condition and in complete working order. It has been under a Thermo Fisher service contract since installation in January 2018, with annual preventative maintenance checks. The most recent service was carried out on 09/10/2023, and the chiller was repaired in January 2025. The system was taken out of use shortly after in preparation for installation of a new TEM. Includes: Cryobox (installed) Single tilt sample holder Fischione room temperature tomography holder (±70° tilt range, available for inclusion) Air-cooled water chiller Two computers: one for microscope operation and one networked support PC for remote engineer access The system has been professionally decommissioned and prepared for transport. It is ready for reinstallation by a suitably qualified transmission electron microscope service provider. A recommendation for a trusted recommissioning specialist can be provided upon request, with on-site setup available at an additional cost.
