Description Thermo Scientific Q Exactive MS System w/ Sogevac SV 40-65 Pump – Spares/Repair This item was removed from a laboratory where it was surplus to requirement. The system is in good cosmetic condition; however, an intermittent fault has been identified. The previous owner advised that the unit developed an intermittent fault believed to be related to the electronics board controlling the instrument vacuum. Please note: The vacuum system (turbo and roughing pumps) appears to function correctly based on instrument readbacks The system intermittently detects a loss of vacuum and shuts down to protect internal electronics (e.g. high voltage power supplies) The fault has occurred twice in the last month The instrument is able to re-establish vacuum without issue and has reportedly run for a week without recurrence Due to this fault, the system is being sold for spares or repair.
