Description Nikon Optiphot Microscope with Microflex HFX-II & FX-35A Photo Attachments This item was removed from a facility where it was surplus to requirements. The microscope is in very good condition for its age and appears to have been carefully maintained. The focusing wheels lift and lower the stand but are very stiff, suggesting the mechanism would benefit from cleaning and re-greasing. All objectives and eyepieces were tested using a sample slide and produced clear images. The camera system fires, rewinds, and responds correctly to controls on the HFX-II, including the handheld switch and timer. No further testing has been carried out.
