Overview & Purpose: The Emflon® PFR / PFRW filter cartridges from Pall are sterilizing-grade hydrophobic PTFE membrane filters designed for air and gas (vent & compressed gas) sterilization applications. They are used to provide a sterile barrier by removing microorganisms (bacteria, phages) and particulates from gas streams that contact sensitive process equipment or product. The filters are designed for repeated use, in situ steam sterilization, and validation / integrity testing.
